It is timely that the Central Bank of Ireland has published Consultation Paper 156 on innovation engagement in financial services—a move welcomed by the Irish Association of Investment Managers.
Association Chief Executive, Michael D’Arcy, said: “Open debate and discussion between financial regulators, policymakers and the asset management industry is vital to ensure savers and pension holders are protected and have confidence in the system—particularly as Europe faces such a wave of uncertainty in the coming months.
“It is critical that we all work together. We need more opportunities like this event organised by the CBI to bring together all interested parties, including consumer groups, from across Ireland, the UK, Europe, and the US.”
The consultation period is open for responses from 8 November 2023 to 8 February 2024.
