Members of the Irish Association of Investment Managers participated alongside Jennifer Carroll MacNeill TD and both Sharon Donnery and Catharine Dwyer from the Central Bank of Ireland on day two of Climate Finance Week Ireland at the Dublin Royal Convention Centre

Today’s focus on “how transition finance will make or break our net-zero future” explored the role of stewardship in meeting climate goals, the impact of sustainable finance in the real economy, key issues facing ESG ETFs and solutions to bridge ESG data gaps.

Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) is top of the association’s agenda in relation to investing, with two of its pillar committees dedicated to Environmental, Social and Governance and Diversity and Inclusion respectively.

“We have a critical role in ensuring the global investment industry communicates more effectively the core message of responsible investing while providing ESG products that have a positive impact on society and produce returns for investors,” said Michael D’Arcy, the association's Chief Executive.
