JOHN WHITTAKER, Managing Director, Chief Executive Officer of Goldman Sachs Asset Management Fund Services Limited

John Whittaker is a Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Goldman Sachs Asset Management Fund Services Ltd, the Irish-based UCITS management company and Alternative Investment Fund Manager. He has worked in Goldman Sachs since 2015.  Prior to his current role, John was head of Real Estate Asset Management for the UK, Ireland and Credit within the private markets business of Goldman Sachs Asset Management.

Prior to Goldman Sachs, John worked for advisory firm Alvarez and Marsal as a Director covering Europe which included advisory assignments in European and Central banks. Earlier in his career, he worked in corporate banking roles in RBS and AIB.

John earned a BA in Accounting and Finance from the University of Glamorgan, Wales and is a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
